Weekly update on our new hospital progress 12 April 2024

It's all happening now!

We're happy to report that work is progressing on our new veterinary facility in Saleyards Road. Most current work is high level work to be completed before the internal walls and ceilings are installed.

Air conditioning units have been craned to the roof and duct-work has been put in place in the ceiling space.  Electrical and other services are being roughed in. Once all these upper level services are installed, internal walls and ceilings can be constructed.

We are grateful to the many people who have contributed to our project to bring us to this point. Busivet's Ted & Ben have helped for several years to develop the concepts and business case evaluating sites and finding a great team of contractors & designers. Calibre Healthcare Interiors from Melbourne have been our designers, taking our initial concepts through to a fully developed design, and being the head contractor for construction. Andrew Campion and his team at Calibre have been superb, wise and patient professionals in helping us though this process thus far. Robyn & John Duigan built the beautiful building we are leasing from them and have been wonderful hosts, assisting with accomodation of the building design wherever possible to meet our needs and helping with friendship and good guidance.

We love that all aspects of our project have been carried out in the same sense of unity and teamwork that we like to see in our own team in our veterinary practice, from management administration & reception, through nurses, technicians and to our veterinarians. We are happy that this development helps us assure a local private familly-owned veterinary service now and into the future.
