The State Government has increased restrictions in our area.
We aim to be able to continue to provide essential services for the welfare of animals in our care. In order to do this we need to make sure that our staff are kept safe and healthy. We do not yet know all of the rules we are required to keep, however in the meantime we are establishing (&/or reintroducing) some ways of working now to keep you and us safe:
- All clients will be asked if they are in the high risk categories prior to booking appointments
- ALL people entering the clinic MUST wear a mask and use hand sanitiser to enter. If you are exempt from wearing a mask for some reason, then we will ask you to remain in your car outside and we will talk to you by phone and bring you pet into the clinic for examination and treatment and return to in a non-contact manner
- We ask all visitors to the clinic to call us from outside so we can manage the number of clients in the clinic and particularly in the waiting room. Only one person will be permitted to accompany the patient into the consultation room
- Clients from within the Metropolitan Area and Mitchell Shire will need to make individual arrangements before we agree to have their patients in the clinic and we will use non-contact protocols in these cases
- For now we will be limiting surgery and hospital treatments to urgent cases and waiting lists will be established again for elective surgeries and treatments
