Change of Policy related to Cancellations
Greg McIntyre
17/01/2022
In these extraordinary times, we find our appointments are in very short supply. We are finding that a number of patients are not arriving for scheduled appointments or we are being notified of cancellations too late to call in another waiting patient. We have long waiting lists of patients requiring treatment and we can't afford to waste the scheduled times we have. Consequently, we find it necessary to introduce a policy of charging for late cancellations and failure to attend appointments. The charge will vary up to the full cost of the scheduled service, depending on how much notice we receive. Cancellations over 24 hours prior to appointments will not be charged for.
