Well, hopefully we are all feeling a bit better about living more normally with COVID-19 now that many restrictions are reducing and masks are in our pockets most of the time rather than on our faces. Some of us are receiving vaccine doses and most people are starting to go into our workplaces again. We will be encouraging our staff to be vaccinated as this becomes available.
We want to update you on what we are doing in hte practice to support a COVID safe environment for you and our staff.
- Masks are no longer required in the waiting room and consulting rooms (in some circumstances we MAY ask you to use one)
- We are still restricting access to the staff area of the clinic more than previously
- We ask that you hand sanitise on entry to the clinic
- We have Victorian government QR-codes available and we ask that you scan on entry
- Our puppy preschool has recommenced with a new provider. Trish has retired from pre-school but she put us in touch with Natalie from 'Crazy, Kind, Calm' who is doing an excellent job with our new puppies and their families
- Elective surgeries are back almost to normal and we are starting to catch up on routine adult immunisations for patients we delayed on this during the worst of the pandemic
- We continue to have upgraded hygeine & sanitising schedules in the clinic as well as reception counter shields for the time being
We appreciate very much your patience as we implemented inconvenient control measures during the pandemic to keep you and our staff safe so we could continuew to provide service to your animals, our patients.
All the best for a better 2021.
Greg McIntyre & all of our team of vets and nurses.
